Fancy supporting the transformation of our outdoor space into a thriving Community Wellbeing Garden? We are running weekly volunteer drop-in sessions where you can pop along and lend a hand in the garden. This might involve planting seeds, clearing up, weeding, painting and more. We will be learning new skills along the way and connecting to nature together.
If you this sounds interesting but you would like to come and check out the garden space first, feel free to drop in or arrange a time via email to be shown around by our garden coordinator, Camila.
Gardening drop-in sessions take place every Friday, from 1.30-3.30pm.
Over the colder months, from December to March, our Garden Guardians sessions will have a different format, so we all stay warm and comfortable.
We will still be doing bits of maintenance in the garden, but will also have access to a room indoors, where we’ll be exploring some of the wonders of gardening and nature.
Activities will include: planning what to plant next year, watching short documentaries about gardening and nature; growing microgreens; exploring therapeutic properties of herbs; nature crafts; learning about ecology and organic gardening; and more.
All of our activities are open to everyone aged 18+
You don’t need to sign up in advance, but if you’re new to the space we’ll ask you for a few details when you get here. You can also do this in advance by clicking the ‘sign up’ button below.
