We work with trainee art, drama and dance movement therapists to offer free, short-term, creative therapy. Sometimes it can be hard to put our experiences into words – through creative therapy, we hope to offer people the chance to explore what’s going on for them, in a way that works for them.
There are currently four options for Creative Therapy:
- Art Therapy
- Drama Therapy
- Dance Movement Therapy
- Music Therapy (in partnership with Nordoff Robbins)
Whichever you choose, the sessions will support you to express yourself in a warm, non-judgemental and creative environment.
Frequently asked questions
How much do sessions cost?
How many sessions will I have?
Our creative therapy offer is short-term and you can expect between 10-12 sessions.
Are sessions one-to-one, or in a group?
We offer both one-to-one and group sessions – availability for both can vary, but you can share your preference when you complete the referral form and we’ll let you know what’s available.
How long will I have to wait to start sessions?
Waiting times can vary, as we have trainee therapists joining us at different times throughout the year. When you refer, we’ll let you know roughly how long we think you’ll be waiting, and keep you updated when it gets closer to starting sessions.
Are sessions in-person or remote?
At the moment, we are able to offer both in-person and remote sessions. When you refer, you can choose which option you prefer, and we can let you know what’s available.
