The aim of this group is to promote a space of reflection, exploration and learning about themes related to food and nutrition. We will be covering behaviour, choices, food groups, nutritional environment, environmental impact. This is a non-judgemental space to talk about the meaning of food in our lives and to think together about how to navigate challenges around it.
All sessions will take place on Friday afternoons, 3-4pm via Zoom
We plan to cover the following themes:
9 April – What’s the meaning of food in our lives?
16 April – Food and mood
23 April – Food groups and macronutrients (fat, carbs and protein)
30 April – Going to groceries 1: Food processing classification
7 May – Going to groceries 2: Reading the labels
14 May – Taste: Strategies to use less salt, fat and sugar
21 May – Mindful eating
