Use verbal and artistic techniques to explore what’s going on for you. Art psychotherapy can help with communication and expressing your thoughts and feelings which may be hard to put into words, as well as helping to make sense of things and understand yourself better

Everyone is welcome

Anyone can get involved. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A space that you feel free and comfortable to talk in
  • A way of doing a phone or video call
  • You can use art materials, but don’t worry if you don’t have any – whatever you have to hand will be great for this process
  • A willingness to try something new

What to expect

Up to 12 sessions with a Trainee Art Therapist, either one-to-one or in a group. Both spaces will provide a safe and confidential space for you to express yourself

You don’t need to be an artist or have any experience of art – everyone is welcome. Some of the time we might be talking. Some of the time we might be creating. Whatever you choose, the therapist will be alongside you on your journey
